Who else is here for apple season? I would put apple butter on everything all year if I could! The best treat of the season so far is grilled cheese with apple butter and apple slices--yum! Add some chipotle if you like heat with it and it will really pop. When it comes to sweet apples, though, I love a good baked treat.
Normally I like baking some apples with brown sugar and a crunchy topping, but lately I've been craving apple cake. There are so many recipes to choose from! This one looks easy enough as well as absolutely delicious, but this French recipe also looks SO good. Then there are a million apple cinnamon cake recipes on the Internet as well. How could you possibly decide? Just make one every weekend throughout fall. How's that for a compromise!
